VPCS is an established mental health organisation offering telehealth services since 2014. Providing specialist psychiatry and psychology services to a wide variety of client groups across Melbourn and Victoria.
The VCPS team comprises of Psychiatrists, Clinical Counsellors, Psychologists, Neuro-psychologists and General Practitioners.
All supported by full-time practice management, secretarial support and IT solutions which enable our practitioners to focus more on client care.
We provide an excellent working environment, state-of-the-art systems and an administration team who look after all clerical and secretarial matters.
We are currently expanding our Telepsychiatry team of 8 to fulfil our growing number of referrals for both private and bulk-billed sessions.

What can you expect from us?
We provide flexibility in work schedules and the ability to practice from home via our secure telehealth solution or at one of our several locations across Melbourne and outer suburbs, one we return to normal after the COVID-19 crisis.
VCPS utilises paperless client records and provides a high-level dedicated marketing program for each psychiatrist to develop a sustained flow of new referrals.
With strong clinical governance processes, our policies and procedures are designed so that practitioners benefit from the structure of a supportive and experienced practice, whilst allowing practitioners to have the level of clinical autonomy in the area of work they desire.
Our supportive team of receptionists and highly-trained triage team are on hand to handle all client enquires, rescheduling, payments, and practitioner enquiries.
Supported clinical operational activities and opportunities for shared-care peer support with our psychiatrists, psychologists and GPs.

Required Skills and Experience;
Ideally, the successful applicants will join our team full-time; however, there is the flexibility to negotiate working arrangements between 2 and 5 days per week.
Fellow of the RANZCP.
Fully registered with AHPRA.
Eligibility for a Medicare Provider number.
Strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
Demonstrates a high standard of ethical practice.
An ambition to work cooperatively with peers and support team.
Capacity to contribute to Clinical Governance.
